KENNEL COUGH …
Kennel cough is a highly contagious dry, hacking cough. Like the common cold in humans, kennel cough spreads easily from animal to animal, especially when kept in close quarters such as a kennel-that’s where the name comes from. Kennel cough is caused by several different airborne bacteria and viruses. The vet may treat the cough with antibiotics and cough suppressants, and the affected dog must be kept in quarantine within the home until fully recovered. Disinfect the dog’s living areas and keep them well-ventilated. It is possible to give dogs partial protection against some of the causes of kennel cough through vaccination; so keep this in mind when you are choosing kennel care. It’s healthier and safer to have care for your pets within your own home.

The Creation
When God had made the earth and sky the flowers and the trees, He then made all the animals the fish, the birds and bees. And when at last He’d finished not one was quite the same. He said, “I’ll walk this world of mine and give each one a name.” And so He traveled far and wide and everywhere He went, a little creature followed Him until it’s strength was spent. When all were named upon the earth and in the sky and sea, the little creature said, “Dear Lord, there’s not one left for me.” Kindly the Father said to him, “I’ve left you to the end. I’ve turned my own name back to front and called you dog, My friend.”
