A native Texan and Houstonian. I am married and have two sons. Animals have always been a big part of my life and each one has touched my heart. My entire family has a soft spot when it comes to abandoned animals. Since 2005, each one of us have brought home one abandoned pup.

At the present time, we have 3 dogs: one Blue Heeler mix and two Pit Bull mixes. One Pit Bull is deaf and a real hoot if I should say so myself. After working 18 years in the legal field and 11 more as an office manager for a publishing company, I decided it was time for me to do what I’ve always wanted to do… devote my time loving your pets and mine.

When God had made the earth and sky the flowers and the trees, He then made all the animals the fish, the birds and bees. And when at last He’d finished not one was quite the same. He said, “I’ll walk this world of mine and give each one a name.” And so He traveled far and wide and everywhere He went, a little creature followed Him until it’s strength was spent. When all were named upon the earth and in the sky and sea, the little creature said, “Dear Lord, there’s not one left for me.” Kindly the Father said to him, “I’ve left you to the end. I’ve turned my own name back to front and called you dog, My friend.”
